So over a month ago I promised a complete posting of Easter pictures to be followed by a "guest blog" entry about Mason's weekend at Grammie & Grampy's house.
I'm a little behind & ALOT has happened... but we are about to get all caught up :)
We had a fabulous Easter morning! We went to Mass with Grammie, Gigi & Papa Tom at Saint Monicas. We then had a YUMMY brunch at the 1818 Club :) Mason met the Easter Bunny & didn't TOTALLY freak out, just a minor melt down :) Mason tried his first blueberry pancake & of course... LOVED it :) He was so good throughout brunch even though he missed his nap! He was tag team entertained by his favorites Papa Tom & Grampy!
I survived my first two night stay away from my sweet baby, but was SOOOOOO ready to see him Tuesday morning :) I arrived in Rome while he was napping, so when he woke up I was there to go in & get him out of his crib. I have never seen Mason so stinking excited EVER!!
It was seriously the most heart warming moment. It actually made me cry. He was SO excited to see him. The look on his face was priceless! He just kept hugging me and then pulling away to look at me and then hugging me again. He did NOT want to let go for a really long time! It really was the best feeling in the whole world to be reunited with my sweet baby.

********* Guest Blog Entry by Grammie & Grampy*********
An old saying from experienced Grandparents goes something like this “If we had known grandchildren would be this much fun we’d have had them first”. We might not go that far but we would certainly say that spending time with Mason is a wonderful joy in every way.
After a delicious Easter Brunch with the Muths we were privileged to take Mason home to Rome with us while Mom and Dad enjoyed some grown up time together. Mason is a great traveler and the ride to Rome was peaceful and calm. When we arrived home Grampy and Mason were anxious to get out of the car and play! Play is what they did; trucks and bouncing balls were flying around the house until dinner and then bath time which Mason loves. After bath time Mason was so tired he conked out immediately as slept for more than 12 hours.
On Monday after breakfast, Mason and Grammie went to see Grampy at work. Grampy got Mason out of the car and took him around to see all the Rome GI work family. Mason amazed them as always. Everyone fussed over how cute and smart he is. Grampy let everyone know that Mason was there to take him to lunch. Several staff members commented how important Mason must be since Keith usually eats lunch at his desk while working. We went to Subway for lunch with Mason having his fresh, carefully peeled and steamed, “Mom-made” food packed carefully in his bag. He was content to eat his yummy food but decided he wanted to try some of Grammie’s drink to wash it down! Everyone in the restaurant cracked up to see him on the table as he quickly realized that he didn’t’ really like Diet Coke.
PICTURES TO COMPLETE THIS POST WILL BE COMING SOON - I PROMISE!
