Whoah.... Sugar?!?! Are you sure mom??

I have always been pretty crazy about the things Mason eats & drinks :) I want only the best wholesome homemade food for my little man! I had researched & found some "alternative" fruit & veggie cake recipes for his first birthday cake experience. I decided to stop being such a freak & just let him try a little tiny bit of regular cupcake & frosting for his party. I had a feeling he would not really be into the whole smashing, eating frosting business anyway. He does not really like getting his hands all messy in food, he'll poke at things & then hold out his hands for me to wipe them off. It's hilarious because its only with food. He'll get grass & dirt all over his hands & not think twice, but he HATES having messy food all over his hands.

Since Mason didn't really jump on the cupcake train... Grampy thought it would nice to offer Mason a sugar cookie. As it turns out... Mason LOVES sugar cookies!!!

Here Comes the Firetruck!!

GiGi works at the Gwinnett Chamber & knows alot of important people!! She just happens to know David Dusik & she was able to convince him to have a Gwinnett Firetruck stop by Mason's party!!

It was sooo awesome!! All the kiddos LOVED getting on the truck & seeing the "Real Firemen"

Mason was a little overwhelmed & wanted to be held the whole time... not cooperating for my photo op :) haha :)

It was the perfect touch to the party to have a real fire truck come by! Great Job GiGi :)

Mason is LOVED by so many people!! We are soooo grateful to everyone that traveled near & far to celebrate Boo's birthday with us!! It is always such an awesome feeling to have (almost) everyone that you love all together in one place!

I almost died when Adam walked in the door. I was so stinkin surprised!! I just couldn't even comprehend what my eyes were seeing! It was the best surprise & it made me cry! It was so amazing to have all the Aunts & Uncles there for Mason's birthday. We are so super thankful that Adam made the trip from LA just for Mason's party!! It was very very special!
