Santa Breakfast at the 1818 Club 12-11-11

Thanks to GiGi we had another fabulous Holiday Brunch at the 1818 Club! Mason takes full advantage of having all four his grandparents together and soaks up LOTS of attention!

Mason will need to soak up all the undivided attention he can for the next few months because he will have a baby sister to share the limelight with as soon as he turns 3 in May!

I simply can not believe how my sweet sweet baby is growing up to be such a sweet sweet little boy! I know he will be the BEST big brother to his little sister, Maddox!

Mason is such a little love bug! He is tender hearted and gives out lots of hugs and kisses to his friends & family! He always offers to share his treats and prizes with us, which melts our hearts - such a generous spirit!

Mason has always been especially fond of Mommy, but since Nate has started to travel most of the week, Mason has really enjoyed when his Daddy is home! I think Mason is starting to look more and more like Nate, especially in the eyes and some of their facial expressions!

After thinking Mason would call Papa Tom simply "Tom" forever, he has finally put the two words together :) Mason LOVES his Papa Tom! I can not be more thankful for the wonderful grandparents that Mason has. His life is just jam packed with grandparents, aunts & uncles and cousins that love him (and his soon to be little sister) to pieces! He is one sweet, precious, lucky boy!!

MiMi's Birthday at Crackle Barrel 12/4/11

Mason is really starting to get the whole birthday/present concept, which is GREAT timing for Christmas coming up! We met MiMi & PaPa at Crackle Barrel off 75 for breakfast to celebrate MiMi's birthday!

While we waited for a table Mase wanted to help Mimi open her presents.

Mason has also become VERY interested in taking his own pictures with our phones! There are WAY too many random close up pictures on my phone that are just waiting to be deleted!!

Mason still does NOT like chocolate AT ALL! He won't even get near it! He was excited to help MiMi open this present until he saw the box was filled with chocolate and he quickly wanted to cover it back up with the paper & put the lid back on! I wonder if he will ever out grow his disdain for chocolate? So strange that MY child does like chocolate!!

Thanksgiving in Blue Mountain with the Muths

Thanksgiving week started out VERY rough in our house!! Mason picked up a stomach bug & we weren't sure we would even make it down to the beach to hang out with the whole Muth/Schmacker clan!

Thankfully, by Tuesday the vomit seemed to have eased up enough for us to venture out into public! But, setting out on a 6-7 hour drive with a toddler that COULD at any time barfaroni was not the best feeling! We stuck to the brat diet , watched a few too many movies & finally made it down to Blue Mountain :)

Mason was SO excited to see his cousins! There is not much my little boy enjoys more than playing with "Jack-Will" - according to Mason the names can not be separated. He will speak of them only as a duo. It's hilarious. Mason asks for them constantly and we REALLY wish that they lived closer so we could see them ALL THE TIME!!

I don't think there is anything that GiGi enjoys more than having all of her boys together AT THE BEACH!! Its the best thing in all the land :)

Sadly, as soon as Mason started to feel better... I GOT THE BUG! I was stuck in the bed (and bathroom) for most of the rest of the trip! I did not eat one single bite of Thanksgiving dinner ;( It was just sad.

I did venture down to the beach on Friday while Nate & Tom played golf to watch Mase play in the ocean with his cousins! Saying he had a BLAST would be the understatement of the century! The water was FREEZING, but you would have never known by these three boys faces!

Will is a fantastic big cousin & took Mase out in the the water over & over again! We could hear Mason shrieking & laughing the whole time!

They came back up freezing, sandy, happy and ready for a dip in the hot tub! Even though sickness rocked our family - seeing Mason spend time with his cousins made every moment of the trip worth it! I simply love those moments!

Jaemore Farms with PaPa & MiMi - November 4th

We missed a true pre-Halloween "pumpkin patch" experience, but we made up for it one beautiful afternoon at Jaemore Farms!

I just think his stance is hilarious in this picture! He's growing up WAY too fast!! Where is my baby?

We went to Jaemore Farms on the Friday after the Teacher of the Year Awards Banquet so MiMi & PaPa were in town & it was wonderful to have them go with us!

Mason liked the big farm slide, but couldn't pick up enough speed to really get a big thrill out of it!

Mase completely owned the corn maze! He had a BLAST running around in there like a crazy man!

MiMi was trying to help Mason take a ride on the inflatable "pony" - this was by far the most entertaining part of the day! MiMi is such a great grandma! She'd do anything for her babies!

Mason's FAVORITE game at Jaemore was this duck race - he played OVER & OVER & OVER! He could have stayed there alllll day!

We tried some of Jaemore's YUMMY BBQ & Fried Pies! They were SO good! We bought fresh apples, homemade pimento cheese, banana bread, and apple butter. SO delicious! I can not wait to go back!!

On our way home we got stopped by a railroad crossing so PaPa pulled over so Mason could get out & check out the train up close & personal! He was in heaven!
